Porridge - everything your body needs for breakfast
Porridge supplies your body with all the important nutrients at breakfast, is easily digestible and good for your immune system. The complex carbohydrates in wholemeal oats allow your blood sugar to rise slowly, which means you stay full longer and your cravings don't stand a chance. Whole grain oats also ensure a healthy digestion thanks to the fibre it contains. Blueberries also contain important antioxidants that protect you from free radicals and thus from disease. Important vitamins and minerals are also contained in the apples. By the way, our porridge is prepared in only 3 minutes, without cooking.

Hot breakfast strengthens from within!
In contrast to cold breakfast, the body has to spend less energy on digesting warm dishes. This relieves your organism, strengthens your immune system and boosts your metabolism. Warm meals are also characterized by an increased bioavailability of the ingredients. This means that the nutrients contained can be absorbed better and faster.
The future belongs to recycling
We are convinced of this. After all, the aim must be to extend the life cycle of existing materials as much as possible so that fewer resources are needed to produce new materials. This is why we focus on recyclability in our packaging and are pleased that our breakfast products have been awarded the "Made for Recycling" certificate. You can find out more about packaging on our social responsibility page.

Frequently asked questions
How is it possible that your porridge without added sugar still contains 15g of sugar according to the nutrition table?
Our Porridge does not contain any added sugar and therefore contains only natural fructose from apricots and raisins. This low sugar content is shown in the nutritional value table. However, what is definitely not found in this porridge is refined sugar or other artificial or natural sweeteners.
Why is the Verival Porridge gluten-free and others are not?
Oats are gluten-free by nature, but are often contaminated with gluten-containing cereals during production - mainly in the mill. The Verival oats used in our Coconut-Apricot Porridge are strictly separated from other cereals from the time of cultivation, harvesting, transport and processing and is therefore gluten-free. So you can enjoy our Coconut-Apricot Porridge even if you have a gluten intolerance.
What is beta-glucan and why is it good for me?
Beta-glucan is a fibre with a special effect. A daily dose of 3g of beta-glucan has been shown to reduce blood cholesterol levels and has many health benefits. One of the main sources of beta-glucan is oats. One portion of porridge (50g) provides 1.67g of beta-glucan and therefore provides you with half your daily requirement of beta-glucan.
Why is porridge considered a healthy breakfast?
Porridge is characterized above all by its high value in fibre, which helps your digestion and keeps your blood sugar level constant. Porridge also contains important minerals, vitamins and proteins. By eating 50g of porridge for breakfast, you cover 60% of your daily magnesium requirements and 30% of your vitamin B1 requirements.
