The basis for couscous is milled, pre-fermented. wheat. Because it can be prepared swiftly it is particularly suitable for quick meals! Couscous can be used as a side dish, added to soup, form a soufflé topped with vegetables and cheese, but also be used cold as a salad or for desserts.

Use: in soups, in vegetable casseroles, with a grilled-cheese topping, as a side-dish, cold as a salad, or in sweet dishes. Basic recipe: Add salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil to the couscous, then cover with boiling water (1.5 times as much water as couscous) and leave to stand for 2-4 minutes. The couscous is now ready to serve!
