How do I prepare the Mango & Physalis Porridge?
Simply place 50g (6 tbsp) of porridge mix in a bowl, pour over approx. 100ml of boiling water or 80ml of hot milk or a plant-based alternative (depending on the desired creaminess) and stir well. Leave to stand for three minutes and enjoy hot. Our porridge is also great for making Overnight Oats: just use a larger quantity of cold water or cold milk and and leave the oat mixture to stand in the fridge overnight.

Porridge ticks lots of healthy eating boxes. Our Mango & Physalis Porridge mix is based on nutritious oat bran, which contains the most nutrient-rich parts of the oat grain. The high fibre content keeps you feeling fuller for longer, staving off hunger pangs and stabilising your blood sugar level. Last but not least, a hot breakfast is already at body temperature, more or less, so it requires less energy to digest and is gentler on your digestive system. It's a great way to kick-start your body for the day!

Like all our other porridges, mueslis and granolas, Verival Mango & Physalis Porridge is made at our own organic production facility in the Tyrolean Alps. When selecting our ingredients we always ensure premium quality and leave nothing to chance. All ingredients are then carefully and meticulously blended to guarantee that every bowlful looks wonderful and tastes amazing.
What other porridge varieties are there in the Verival range?
Our family of porridges is growing and multiplying! Besides Mango & Physalis, the very first of our porridge varieties were Apricot & Honey, Blackberry and Poppy Seed & Plum. A short while later we developed four gluten-free varieities – Strawberry & Chia, Blueberry & Apple, Coconut & Apricot and Bircher. Finally, 2019 saw the launch of our Chocolate & Banana Sport Porridge and the three varieties in our TCM range, formulated in accordance with the Five Elements Theory: Sour Cherry & Cocoa, Coconut & Orange and Apricot & Strawberry. And since we're always on the lookout for exciting new recipes, you can be sure that we'll soon be adding more new varieties to our range.
