Muesli preparation
With the diverse organic muesli mixes from Verival, preparing your healthy breakfast is quick and easy.
For our organic mueslis, we consistently use raw materials that come from non-GMO and organic farming.
Prepare the basic muesli recipe
To prepare the muesli, simply put oat flakes or your Verival muesli mixture in a bowl and then add milk or a plant-based milk alternative such as almond, rice or coconut milk. Stir in some yogurt and lemon juice. Let the muesli stand for five minutes so that the oat flakes absorb the liquid and swell.
Garnish your muesli with fresh fruits and nuts for extra flavor and nutrients. For a natural sweetness, add some honey and stir.
This is how you start your day healthy and enjoyable with Verival.

Whole grain muesli is so healthy
The most important ingredient in our organic mueslis is whole grain oats, which are rich in fiber and vitamin B. These fibers promote metabolism and ensure a long-lasting feeling of fullness thanks to the long-chain carbohydrates.
These whole grain oat-based options from Verival are ideal for a healthy and delicious breakfast that helps you lose weight and keep you fit .
Where does the muesli come from?
Muesli has its origins in Switzerland. The word “muesli” comes from Swiss and means something like puree or porridge. The Swiss doctor Dr. Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner developed the concept at the beginning of the 20th century to offer his patients a wholesome and nutritious meal.
According to legend, Dr. Bircher-Benner presented the dish that later became known as Bircher muesli for the first time on a mountain pasture. Inspired by this dish, he further developed it into a diet dish that was intended to support a healthy diet.
Muesli quickly became very popular, not only because of its healthy composition, but also because of its easy preparation and unique taste. Because one thing muesli is definitely not: complicated.

Frequently asked questions
How long do you have to soak muesli?
Muesli should ideally be soaked in milk, yogurt or a plant-based alternative for 10-15 minutes to get the oat flakes soft and the flavors well mixed. If you like it particularly tender, you can also let it soak in the fridge overnight.
What is the best way to eat muesli?
The best way to enjoy muesli is with milk, yogurt or a plant-based alternative. You can flavor it with fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, or honey to add additional nutrients and flavor. Muesli is also excellent as a topping on smoothie bowls or as an ingredient in baking recipes.
Which liquid for muesli?
Various liquids such as cow's milk, plant-based milk alternatives (e.g. almond milk, oat milk, soy milk), yoghurt or fruit juice are suitable for muesli. The choice of liquid depends on your personal preferences and any dietary needs.
Which is better: muesli with milk or yogurt?
Whether cereal is better with milk or yogurt depends on your preferences and dietary needs. Milk makes the cereal more liquid and is good if you want a light meal. Yogurt gives the granola a creamy consistency and is a good choice if you prefer a thicker, more filling meal. Both options provide important nutrients, with yogurt providing additional probiotic benefits for digestion.
