Nowadays it is hard to imagine the breakfast table without Granola. Unlike classic muesli, granola is baked in the oven and thus provides you with a crispy-sweet breakfast every morning. In contrast to conventional crunchy mueslis on the market, however, only carefully selected, natural ingredients are used in our granolas. Our Verival Cocoa-Sour Cherry Granola even does not use any animal products or palm oil. The crunchy texture provides the right crispness and the sour cherries give it a fruity note. Do something good for you and your body, because our Granola is not only delicious, but also contains wholegrain flakes, which are rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals. Wholemeal regulates your blood sugar level and keeps you full longer. So ravenous appetite doesn't stand a chance. In addition, the dietary fibres contained in wholemeal ensure a healthy digestion.

Vegan dark chocolate

For our Cocoa-Sour Cherry Granola we use vegan dark chocolate with 70% cocoa content, manufactured in Austria. The cocoa it contains has many important ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, the consumption of chocolate leads to the release of the messenger substances serotonin and endorphin and thus increases the well-being and mood.

Fruity sour cherry

Sour cherries are particularly well known for their strong anti-inflammatory effect, which was proven in research 50 years ago. They can also help regulate high blood pressure, as the potassium they contain balances the water and electrolyte balance.

We all know it. We all love it. The Crunchy. But how is it produced? We still make our Verival Crunchy by hand - just like you would do it at home, only in larger dimensions. First, the ingredients are mixed together to form a dough, then spread out on a large baking tray and finally gently baked in the oven with sunflower oil. After baking, the large biscuit is broken into many small pieces. Depending on the product, other ingredients, such as berries, are also added. Now our Verival Crunchy is ready to give you a crispy start to the day!

Palm oil is the most widely used vegetable oil and consumption has increased enormously in recent years. To produce it, however, rainforest is cleared, and many animals and people lose their habitat. At Verival we are aware of the negative effects of palm oil and do not use it. We focus on sustainability and therefore use sunflower oil, or more precisely high-oleic sunflower oil. This is an oil that is very rich in oleic acid and can therefore be heated to high temperatures without any problems. This is what makes our Crunchy so beautifully crispy when baked.

Full grain for full energy

Whole grains are cereals in which all 3 parts of the grain (part I = husk, part II = endosperm, part III = germ) are processed. This ensures that fibre, vitamins, oils and minerals are ideally preserved. Whole grain can be made from all types of cereals. For our Crunchys we use oats, barley, spelt and wheat. These help to keep the blood sugar level constant, lead to a long feeling of satiety and support digestion. The energy store emptied overnight can therefore be optimally replenished with whole grain.

How do I prepare my Cocoa-Sour Cherry Granola?

Your Granola is best prepared with milk, yoghurt or a plant-based alternative. But you can also use it as a great topping or just snack it.

Is the Cocoa-Sour Cherry Granola sugar-free?

Our Granola contains vegan, organic chocolate made in Austria with 70% cocoa content and some organic raw cane sugar - which is needed to give the Granola its delicious, biscuit-like texture. So no, it is not sugar-free. But the sugar content of 18g/100g is very low compared to other chocolate mueslis on the market. A careful use of sugar and other sweeteners is very important to us.

Is the cocoa sour cherry Granola also available as a single portion?

Yes, the Verival Cocoa-Sour Cherry Granola is also available in practical single portions to take away and try.

Why are the Granola clusters in my product not all the same size?

The clusters are not all the same size, as our Granola is handmade. After baking, the granola is broken into smaller pieces and with this procedure we cannot guarantee the exact size of the clusters. However, the advantage of manual work is that we oversee the whole process.

ich habe es gerade zum ersten Mal probiert & ich muss sagen es schmeckt so unfassbar, besonders in Kombination mit den kleinen Schokostückchen. Perfekt für ein Frühstück oder aber auch zwischendurch zum Naschen!
