Recipe: Low-Calorie Porridge

The most important ingredient in porridge are clearly oat flakes. The complex carbohydrates in oats mean that you will stay full for a long time and will not suffer from cravings. Porridge is therefore the ideal food for losing weight. If you prepare your porridge with water instead of milk or a vegetable drink, you can also save calories.
However, the porridge has to be prepared correctly for this. For example, you should not add sugar to the porridge, not eat too much at once or use the wrong toppings.

Low-Calorie Porridge
Ingredients
- 50 g oat flakes
- 1 pinch of salt
- 130 ml water
- healthy toppings: e.g. berries, healthy fats (almond paste)
Instructions
- Heat the water (for example in a kettle)
- Put the oat flakes in a bowl with a pinch of salt
- Pour the boiling water into the bowl
- Stir the porridge well until it has reached a creamy consistency
- Decorate the porridge with your toppings
